LDB is taking a major step forward in meeting the needs of hurting people in Denver by opening a Community Center dedicated to this population. This will be a place where people will be treated with kindness and dignity. They will find a clean place to take a shower, enjoy a meal, and receive cursory medical care. They will have access to computers, caring case workers, and people who can guide them in next steps toward self-sufficiency. The community center would be a completely drug free environment.

In order to accomplish this goal, Lord’s Daily Bread has launched a capital campaign, seeking to raise a total of $1,000,000 in four months. LDB has identified a building near East Colfax and Quebec that will be easily accessible to people in Denver and Aurora. Many people on the streets could change their life situation if someone provides a hand up in a caring environment. Please partner with LDB in this worthy endeavor.
